BRESCIA | SINS IN THE SHADE For centuries considered in the realm of sins committed in the shadows, those sins one commits above all under the eyes of one's conscience… in 1994 the experience of homosexuality appeared publicly and was named in the city's first openly gay bar. A walk through the city centre, from Piazza del Foro to the Quartiere del Carmine, on the trail of places and mechanisms of oppression of these negated, marginalised or endured subjectivities, and the power system that regulate their practices and 'morality'.
