Day 1: Arrival in Genova

Day 1: Arrival in Genova. Morning: Arrival at Genova Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Private transfer to a 4-star hotel in Genova. Check-in and settle in. Afternoon: Explore Genova. Guided walking tour of Genova's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the magnificent Genova Cathedral (San Lorenzo). Discover the Doge's Palace and the ancient port. Evening: Welcome dinner at a traditional Genovese restaurant, enjoying local specialties like pesto alla Genovese and farinata.

 

Day 2: Genova Highlights and Culinary Experience

Morning: Continue exploring Genova. Visit the Royal Palace and its stunning gardens. Explore the Aquarium of Genova, one of the largest in Europe. Lunch: Lunch at leisure. Afternoon: Culinary Experience. Participate in a pesto-making workshop and enjoy a tasting session with local wines. Evening: Dinner at leisure. Overnight stay in Genova. 

 

Day 3: Genova to Cinque Terre (Rio Maggiore)

Morning: After breakfast, depart for the Cinque Terre by private bus. Arrive in Riomaggiore, the first village of the Cinque Terre. Afternoon: Explore Riomaggiore. Guided tour of the village, including a visit to the Church of San Giovanni Battista. Leisurely walk along the Via dell'Amore (Lover's Lane) to Manarola. Evening: Check-in at a charming hotel in Riomaggiore. Dinner at a local seafood restaurant, savoring fresh catch of the day.

 

Day 4: Cinque Terre Villages and Wine Tasting

Morning: Easy Trekking. After breakfast, embark on an easy trek from Manarola to Corniglia, enjoying spectacular coastal views. Visit the village of Corniglia and explore its narrow streets and terraces. Lunch: Lunch at leisure in Corniglia. Afternoon: Continue to Vernazza. Explore Vernazza's picturesque harbor and historic sites. Enjoy a wine tasting session featuring local Cinque Terre wines. Evening: Return to Riomaggiore. Dinner at leisure. Overnight stay in Riomaggiore.

 

Day 5: Monterosso and Relaxation

Morning: After breakfast, travel to Monterosso al Mare. Guided tour of Monterosso, the largest of the Cinque Terre villages. Visit the Convent of the Capuchin Friars and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. Lunch: Lunch at leisure. Afternoon: Free time to relax on the beach or explore more of the village. Evening: Farewell dinner at a renowned restaurant in Monterosso, enjoying regional dishes and stunning sea views. Return to Riomaggiore for the night.

Day 6: Departure from Rio Maggiore

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to Genova Cristoforo Colombo Airport for departure.
