ITINERARY
Day 1 (Bergamo)
Reach Bergamo in the morning and take your time to visit the highlights of the historical center in this charming city. We have organized a lunch for you at a typical trattoria centrally located. You will taste the delicious casoncelli alla bergamasca, a typical local dish prepared with hand-made pasta and filled with meat or cheese and bacon.
In the afternoon, visit the Museo Donizettiano (the tour includes multimedia stations dedicated to the famous Italian musician Gaetano Donizetti; it will be possible to complete the itinerary dedicated to the great composer by visiting his birthplace and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore where his remains are preserved).
After the visit, you will reach Brescia in your own car. The lively center of the city will offer a variety of opportunities to have a good dinner in one of the most fashionable areas. Overnight at a 4-star hotel (name and position will be communicated upon confirmation of the package).
Day 2 (Brescia)
After a good breakfast, you will be ready to explore the Leonessa d'Italia (the Lioness of Italy) with its glamorous squares, ancient palaces, and stunning Roman archaeological area. Check out the calendar of musical events before booking your package, or just enjoy an aperitive in the frescoed ridotto of the Teatro Grande.
Enjoy a delicious typical dinner, organized for you, at one of the characteristic Osterias, often hidden in medieval alleys, and let yourself go to the magic atmosphere of the illuminated city at night.
Overnight at the reserved hotel.
Day 3 (Lake Garda)
It's time to greet your hotel, after breakfast, but just a 30-minute drive from Brescia you can reach the biggest lake in Italy. Lake Garda is a treasure of landscapes and stunning views. Park just outside the Castle Walls in Sirmione and enjoy the tiny and colorful streets of this amazing peninsula located south of Lake Garda and which, in the 1950s, hosted the great opera singer Maria Callas (a park and a museum are devoted to her memory). Enjoy some local fish at lunch before ending your tour and driving back to your destination.
