CARNIVALS
“Carnevale di Bagolino” is the most famous carnival in the province of Brescia. It is one of the most ancient and evocative carnivals in Italy, where you can assist traditional dances performed by local dancers, who are disguised in ancient coloured costumes. The territory of Brescia is also rich in classical carnivals where local food and recipes are offered.

H ISTORICAL COMMEMORATIONS
The territory of Brescia periodically offers historical ommemorations: the most famous one is the historical commemoration of the Solferino and San Martino Battle – which took place during the XIXth Century and from which the International Red Cross was born. In our territory you can also find further historical commemorations, medieval tournaments and carousels, and religious performances and commemorations.

The province of Brescia, which has a very rich food and wine tradition, offers its guests a wide range of village feasts and festivals dedicated to a lot of local recipes and products: DOC and DOCG wines, olive oil, local cheese, desserts, salami, etc.
