Brief food and wine itinerary along the “Wine Route- Lombard Hills”
Arrival in the morning and visit to the Giacomo Bergomi Museum in Montichiari, a collection of about three thousand pieces coming from the alpine valleys and Brescia plain.
Visit to a wine cellar, illustration of food and wine products, sampling of wine and tasting of typical food products; lunch in a “trattoria” with typical dishes and DOC (controlled denomination of origin) wines.
Conducted tour to Bonoris Castle: it was built in the last ten years of the nineteenth century by count Gaetano Bonoris, to recreate a medieval-style fortress upon the ruins of the ancient Rocca.
