Borghetto di Valeggio is an evocative and romantic village of medieval origin, which is dominated by the great Visconteo Bridge, built in 1393 AD, to defend the eastern borders. It is also called "the Long Bridge", because it was united to the Castle.
Once in Borghetto - where you can taste the renowned "Tortellini di Valeggio", a famous local recipe - you can't miss visiting the amazing natural park, "Giardino Sigurtà", one of the most important natural parks in Europe.
From Borghetto you can also easily reach Lake Garda, and the wonderful Art Cities of Verona and Mantua, and enjoy the numerous cycle and walking paths sorrunding the village, from where you can reach Peschiera and Lake Garda.
